Good things are happening.
A big weekend behind us. A strong program ahead. And something in the works that we think you'll be genuinely excited about. Here's what's going on.
Global Diagnosis with Dr Bill Robbins. What a weekend.
What a way to kick things off. Bill Robbins is one of the best in the world at what he does, and spending two full days (plus Friday night drinks!) with him made that very clear. He has a gift for taking complex clinical thinking and making it land in a way that's practical and immediately useful. There were a lot of lightbulb moments in that room.
The discussions were great, the feedback was genuinely strong, and by the end of the afternoon people were already asking when he's coming back. That says it all.
We're in early talks with Bill about returning, possibly next year, possibly sooner. We'll give you plenty of notice. If you missed this one, make sure you don't miss the next.

IN TWO WEEKS
Occlusion One with Dr Tom Giblin.
Dr Tom Giblin has been running Occlusion One for ten years. It has become the course people point to when they're asked where to start with occlusion. Not because it's the easiest option, but because it actually changes how you think.
It's hands on over two days. You leave with a real framework, real skills, and a clear sense of what you were missing. The feedback speaks for itself.
"The only occlusion course worth doing. Sets your mindset up properly from day one."
Two weeks away on April 10 & 11. Spots are limited. If you've been sitting on this one, now is the time.
WHAT'S COMING UP
A full program of courses is now live.
Head to the Sydney Dental Academy website and you'll find a range of upcoming courses across different clinical areas. Whether you're looking to go deeper in a specific discipline or build a broader diagnostic foundation, there's a pathway for you.
Everything is designed the same way. Led by practicing clinicians. Grounded in real cases. Built to change how you work.
Worth knowing
Our facility is available for hire.
Sydney Dental Academy is based at Frenchs Forest, just 20 minutes from the city. It's a purpose built specialist facility in a professional clinical environment, and it's available for events.
The space is flexible. The teaching room seats up to 120 theatre style, or 50 to 60 with desks. There's a courtyard that can accommodate up to 200 to 300 people for larger occasions. Full AV is included and catering can be organised.
Being in the dental industry is a bonus if that's relevant to you, but the space works just as well for any professional event. Easy to get to, no fuss, and great value.

COMING SOON
The SDA Study Club
Sydney Dental Academy is starting a study club. Real clinical sessions, real case discussion, and some incredible minds in the room every month.
Dr Tom Giblin has an extraordinary network and he's been quietly putting this together for a while now. We can't say too much just yet, but we're excited about what's coming.
More details in the next few weeks. Keep an eye on the SDA Digest.
Thanks for being part of this. SDA exists because we care deeply about education, about giving dentists the opportunity to learn from great minds, to collaborate, and to keep raising their standard of care. Every event, every course, every session is built around that. We're excited about what's ahead and grateful to have you with us.
